GreyHats CTF 2025
The GreyHats CTF 2025, an annual Capture The Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competition, was held on June 28–29, 2025, at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). Jointly hosted by NUS GreyHats and Division Zero (Div0) and supported by the National Cybersecurity R&D Laboratory (NCL), the event brought together some of the brightest cybersecurity minds from Singapore and around the world.
The top 20 local teams from the qualifiers advanced to the 24-hour onsite finals at NUS. A total of 80 participants competed in person, showcasing their technical skills, perseverance, and teamwork under intense pressure. The onsite finals featured challenges across a wide range of categories, including Web Exploitation, Binary Exploitation, Reverse Engineering, Blockchain, Cryptography, and Miscellaneous.
This year’s edition saw overwhelming participation in the online qualifiers, held on May 31 – June 1, 2025, with 2,674 participants from 1,131 teams:
- Local: 305 teams (870 participants).
- International: 826 teams (1,802 participants).

GreyHats CTF Summit 2025
The GreyCTF Summit 2025, a mini cybersecurity conference, was held on July 5, 2025, at NUS School of Computing, COM1 Level 2. This summit featured technical talks, workshops, and insightful industry booths designed to share knowledge and raise awareness about the cybersecurity field.
The objective of the summit is to inspire students to explore their interest in cybersecurity, while providing them with opportunities to connect with industry professionals and learn more about real-world careers and developments in the field.
For this year’s summit, we were delighted to welcome a variety of professional speakers and student groups, who shared their experiences, career insights, and opportunities available in the cybersecurity industry.
