NCL - CSA - Advanced Youth Cyber Exploration Programme (AYCEP) 2023

The National Cybersecurity R&D Lab (NCL) would like to express our gratitude to the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) for including NCL as a co-partner in the Advanced Youth Cyber Exploration Programme (AYCEP) held on June 6-7, 2023. Approximately 70-80 finalists qualified and participated in the final Capture The Flag (CTF) competition and tabletop exercise, which took place at the ASEAN-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre for Excellence on June 7, 2023. NCL was also a part of the judging panel for the tabletop exercise.

Together with Horangi, NCL provided technical training on Day 1 of AYCEP to prepare the participants for the CTF challenge. AYCEP showcased the immense potential and passion of Singapore's youth in the field of cybersecurity and provided a platform for collaboration, learning, and growth. It was an incredible experience witnessing the dedication, problem-solving skills, and teamwork displayed by the participants as they tackled challenging questions and scenarios.

Congratulations to all the participants and winners of AYCEP! Your remarkable performances and commitment to cybersecurity excellence are truly inspiring. I applaud your dedication and enthusiasm to secure our digital future. Your passion and talent are the driving force behind a safer and more secure digital world.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Whitehat Society for their invaluable support in making the event a resounding success.
